Pasar Payang, Kuala Terengganu
This is the central market of Kuala Terengganu, similar to the one in Ipoh, below UTC Perak.
However, there are a lot more local produces for sale, popular foods and local souvenirs. I wonder how many stalls there are here.
The two-storey building is a pit stop for tourists here, before they return to their hometowns. One would need to prepare a shopping list before heading to Pasar Payang or it would take up too much time browsing through the numerous items sold here.
On the ground floor is the wet market, while on the upper floor are the souvenir stalls, where one can buy all sorts of souvenirs, from turtle key chains and fridge magnets to Terengganu batik.
I took a few shots of the market to share the general overview of the place with you.
