With Love
I actually wanted to publish this photo weeks ago but my mum asked me to submit it to The Star’s Thumbnails column, which I did and gave them the first option but they did not think it is good enough to be published, let alone win the token sum of RM50.

Well, I think this is a great photo and worthy to be published here on my blog. This is a classic case of a “picture speaks a thousand words”.
I got to know that this sign post was only planted that very morning and in the evening, there was already a bag of rubbish hanging ON it. Talk about civic-mindedness but I would like to stress that not ALL Ipoh folks are like this, OK?
It would not be so bad if the bag of rubbish was placed on the ground, as usual but to hang onto the post is open defiance towards the authorities. Don’t you think so?
Now that I have posted this on my blog, I probably have forfeited my chance of winning RM50, if there was a chance at all in the first place!

I was at Tesco Extra quite a while ago and saw baskets of raw bean curd puffs on sale. You may wonder why I shot this photo. Well, these puffs reminded me of a friend who recently told me that “tau pok” is one of his favourite food. Mmmgg I also like them especially when they are soaked with curry

Isn’t it funny that KL people call it “tau pok”? It’s called “taufu pok” here in Ipoh and I think the proper word is still “taufu pok” because TAU is BEAN but TAUFU is BEAN CURD.
By the way, I don’t really like this photo. The puffs look like plastic, don’t they? Eewww

My blog buddies Albie and Angel O’liu liu have this thing called The Hug-Hug Club over at their blogs. Oh, I jeles because I don’t have such a club. Nobody wants to hug me. I am unloved. I have failed as a blogger. SIGH!
Although I have no plans to monetize this blog, I still want to raise my traffic and RSS subscribers. Why? It makes me feel good to see people reading, commenting and linking to me. In short, I need the motivation to blog.

I first heard of RSSHugger about two months ago [or so] from John Chow’s blog. I must admit, I just skimmed though the post because I thought it was a paid review, rightly or wrongly, and I don’t read paid reviews. Naturally, I did not click on the link provided in the article. Yes, despite John Chow’s extraordinarily high click through rate, I did not click on it.
Just now, I came upon a blog which I have even forgotten its address unless I backtrack and check the history of my browser [lazy] with a post on RSSHugger. I read that joining RSSHugger could help increase our readership and RSS subscribers. I definitely could do with an increment on both!
I signed up just now and hopefully, it would bring me a little bit more traffic than I have now. By the way, if you have not already subscribed to my RSS feed, please do so. Visit often and leave me a comment too so that this blog will not die a quiet, lonely death.
