NSTP Perak Hari Raya Open House For Media Friends
With a medley of Hari Raya songs playing softly in the background, scores of media practitioners based in Perak streamed into the office of The New Straits Times Press (Perak) in Greentown Avenue to celebrate the joyous occasion of Hari Raya.
It was a potluck lunch which saw staff of the media group each contributing a variety of food to see to the success of the event.
The gathering among friends and colleagues in the same industry was a revelation as the culinary skills of the press men and women were unveiled!
Journalism is a high pressured job where everyone tries to bring to the public the latest news, accurately. Hence, it is not often that journalists get to mingle among themselves and catch up on life outside of the news world. Therefore, this Hari Raya Open House was that perfect opportunity to chit-chat, except for those who were out on assignment!
