Majlis Malam Media bersama Y.A.B. Menteri Besar Perak

About 150 members of the press based in Perak were invited to “party” with Perak Menteri Besar (Chief Minister of Perak State), YAB Dato’ Seri Diraja Dr Zambry Abd Kadir, last night at the Banquet Hall of Bangunan SUK. Dato’ Seri Dr. Zambry, his wife, Datin Seri Saripah Zulkifli, and members of his State Assembly, mingled freely with guests. The theme was “kampung halaman”. It was a carefree, non-working event (well, for most of us).

Rosli Mansor from Ipoh Echo – one of the ten participants in the karaoke singing competition. Rosli came in second.

Besides feasting on local food, we were entertained by dancers from the cultural dance troupe from Ipoh City Council. Ten media representatives participated in a karaoke singing competition, showing their talent that could match professional singers. The top three performers received prizes for their effort.

In addition, photographers were invited to participate in a photography competition, with the theme “MB Turun Padang” which captured scenes of the Chief Minister getting close to the people.
