I attended MOFEW (Malaysia’s Online Fashion Entrepreneurs’ Weekend) a couple of weeks ago at Mid Valley Exhibition Centre, the second year it was held. I was delighted to see that it was bigger and better than last year’s, the first ever MOFEW.

This year, there were a whole lot more things to buy, causing serious damage to my budget, I tell you, but it is not easy to resist the temptation of buying clothes, shoes, bags or accessories, that were sold in limited quantities by exhibitors, as they are small time entrepreneurs. The only thing that stopped me from overindulging in purchases was my heavy luggage.

The second Malaysia’s Online Fashion Entrepreneurs’ Weekend brought together more than a hundred enterprises and corporate exhibitors, mostly targeted at women shoppers. What made this year’s MOFEW all the more exciting was the fact that the majority of merchants accepted cashless payment through PayPal.
