bringing 2 U events & happenings in and around Ipoh … & beyond…
This Taoist cave shrine by the name of “Tokong Lian Far Kon” or Lotus Flower Cave Temple in English, is just adjacent to Wat Puthanimittam in Taman Kemuncak, Ipoh Garden East. On the other side of this shrine is the Goddess of Mercy shrine. This means there are three places of worship along this stretch.
I don’t know the history of this shrine but the festival of Wong Lao Sin deity is observed on the 6th day of the 6th Chinese lunar month annually.

A reason I am sharing these photos is to share the knowledge of Taoist deities and their names. I hope it is useful to anyone seeking this information.

Visit before..is a beautiful view in top of Lotus Flower Cave Temple and have many monkey around too…
I’ve been there before on its opening ceremony…
Never been there.. Will visit and pray there when go to Ipoh.. =)
