Ling Sen Tong (Ipoh Cave Temple)

Ling Sen Tong has got to be one of the more popular limestone cave temples in Ipoh. It’s THE first huge cave temple that people coming from the North-South Highway exit will see. To be honest, I am not good with the Chinese names of temples so I keep forgetting its name. This post will serve as a good reminder to myself!

We visited Ling Sen Tong last Sunday after visiting Kek Look Tong. Both are quite near to each other, though it’s too bad that I was not able to grab the GPS co-ordinates of any cave temples in Ipoh, most probably because of the limestone hills!

There was not much of a crowd when I was there, good for me since it would then be difficult to take some decent shots of the cave temple. I think it must be because of the tremendous rainfall the night before or maybe because it was in the middle of the afternoon. The sun was so bright, people would rather be indoors!
