LABpark: Glow in the Park

With all the running about, I thought I would have to give LABpark a miss. Thankfully, I managed to squeeze some time for it!

This is a community project powered by Kinta Properties for the second consecutive year, an experimental project that connects people through arts, lights and music during this holiday season.

As a follow-up to the successful Field of Lights event last year, which attracted some 40,000 visitors over the entire period, LABpark: Glow in the Park is expected to attract a larger crowd since its opening on 15th Dec, 2017.

Located at the same venue of Bandar Baru Sri Klebang township, LABpark features twelve shipping containers with illuminating surprises in the interior, plus food truck, kiosks and other spaces within its modest grounds.

LABpark is open to the public on 4th to 7th Jan, from 7pm to 11pm. It will then temporarily close and reopen from 8th Feb to 4th March (Thurs to Sun, 7pm – 11pm), featuring fresh installations. Do take note that it will be closed on 15th & 16th Feb for Chinese New Year.

  2. That limitless lab, and the smiles lab looks like inspired by the artistic works of Yayoi Kusama. I love fairylights of any sorts!
