On Sunday evening, a group of young performers, students from a performing arts school in Ipoh, vowed the audience with their singing and dancing. While their performances weren’t flawless, the audience still had an enjoyable time, clapping along with the music.

I take my hat off to the youngsters for having the guts to perform to a sizable crowd in public. Credit must also be given to the teachers, and particularly to parents who sacrifice time, energy and money to nurture their children.

At the end of the night, the performers took the chance to shoot a photo with the organiser, their teacher and guest of honour, Y.B. Dr. Lee Boon Chye, Member of Parliament Gopeng.
