The General Manager of Impiana Hotel Ipoh (IHI), Mark Rummery, held his first corporate cocktail party last evening. Mark will be holding similar cocktail parties every month and guests, besides in-house guests, will be from the corporate sector and movers and shakers of Ipoh. This is in line with the hotel being the best 4-star corporate hotel in Ipoh. Besides saying ‘thank you’ to corporate clients, this is also an opportunity for guests to network. These parties are by invitation only.

At last evening’s GM’s Corporate Cocktail Party, Mark introduced his visiting Executive Chef, who will be at Impiana Hotel Ipoh for a month. Executive Chef Volkmar Ertel, originally from Bavaria, has been tasked to draw up an authentic German menu, sans pork, to celebrate Oktoberfest, right here at Impiana Hotel Ipoh.
