Cruise Tasik Putrajaya
If you are in Putrajaya, one of the must-do is a cruise on the Tasik Putrajaya. This lake is man-made and I have been told, the water is clean enough to drink. Many people come to this Federal government administrative centre of Malaysia, also known as the Garden City of Tomorrow, to view the different architectures of buildings. No one building is the same. However, taking the cruise affords a different view.
My entourage and I were treated to a night cruise, and it was just breathtaking. It was definitely a most memorable experience. A must-try! Other cruise packages include lunch cruise, romance dinner cruise and boat charter for private functions.
Putrajaya is lighted up every night – there are three sets of lighting throughout the year, so if you are lucky, you would be able to see things ‘in a different light’, literally!
The duration of my Putrajaya Lake Cruise was about 40 minutes. As you can see, during my cruise, I spent more time enjoying the sight than taking photographs! I would recommend this cruise to anyone staying in Puchong or Kuala Lumpur since it isn’t too far away. There are a lot of shuttles that can take you to and from your Kuala Lumpur hotel any day of the week.
