With less than a month to the dawn of Ramadan, many of my friends are already making plans to break fast at different eateries and dining spots around town. One of the places that is never out of their radar over the years is definitely Ipoh’s leading city hotel, Syeun.

Of course, there will be grilled lamb shoulder and ikan bakar, something not to be missed by BBQ fans, to complement other items from the all-time favourite Goreng-Goreng stall that serves Jemput-jemput and banana fritters, among others. Don’t forget to make a stop at the Laksa Sarang counter. Its tantalising aroma will surely entice you to it, anyway!
