Nice?

With the number of functions that I attend every month, I am quite immune to them already. The “Together We Love Charity Dinner”, though, was different.

The charity dinner was a fund-raising event organised by Pertubuhan Kebajikan Sehati Ipoh Perak, with a total of 95 tables, including 11 for school-children, who are from a disadvantaged financial background. Almost RM100,000 was disbursed to 17 beneficiary schools, benefiting more than a hundred pupils.

To entertain the pupils, who were all treated to KFC that evening, the organisers brought in two clowns, who tirelessly amused them with their funny antics and non-stop balloon sculpting. The clowns certainly had their hands full as even adults requested for cute balloons in the shape of bunnies, bears and other animals.

Have you been to Kinta Riverfront Hotel’s pillarless grand ballroom?

So now we know. Handling more than a hundred kids is not a difficult task. We just have to bring in the clowns. Experienced ones, that is!
