As you could see from the backdrop of these photos, which is the same as my mooncake post, I went to Kinta City again. Well, they have an on-going programme in conjunction with Mid-autumn Festival.

Last evening, I purposely went early to try to get a good spot. I wanted to video their performances. The show started at 8pm and I reached there about twenty minutes earlier but the two rows of seats have already been occupied.

Actually Kinta City’s series of programmes started on 30th August, but I was too busy to go on the first day. But never mind, there will still be similar shows, including magic shows, Chinese opera and “face changing” performances in the coming weekends.

I have to say that I was pretty disappointed with the show. There was no showmanship at all. These two ladies and a young man were so engrossed in their notes that there was no interaction or eye contact with the audience at all. No one smiled too. At one point, there was awful feedback from the speakers which spoilt the already bad show.
This time, I did not use the zoom when capturing the videos to try to preserve their quality. Still uploading to YouTube has drastically reduced the quality. Audio is fine, though. You could even hear small kids chatting away. These kids spoilt my video when they suddenly climbed up chairs or put up their hands, besides chatting away. And then there were people who walked right across the stage.
Check out my videos. These pieces are popular Chinese music, though I do not know their titles, just recognize the tunes. From what I understand, these musicians are from Shanxi, China, but I could be wrong. They certainly look like any other fair complexioned Malaysian.

I know this post is a day late but YouTube has been giving me trouble and unable to process my video. Arghhh I have been trying to upload my last and final video up since yesterday. Just now I decided to convert my video format and after wasting time looking for a free video format converter, the damn server was down and I could not download the file.
I finally managed to download it but was asked to install this and that programme to be able to use the free video converter programme. Sh|t…. so pissed off. On top of that, I finally found a format that YouTube could process, in .wmv but the video quality looks like shit now. But it will have to do till I managed to get a better option to replace it. So, I write this post also si beh no mood already!

Anyway, I purposely went to Ipoh Parade on Christmas Day (I was at Kinta City on Christmas Eve) expecting a show but did not expect to see Doraemon and his friend, Nobita. I didn’t even know what day or time they will be around. I am glad, though, that I finally caught their last show.
All these photos and videos were taken with Olympus SP-550UZ, but photos have been reduced by 50% for blog publishing. I didn’t even have the chance to take out my iPhone LOL

I find that those photos with flash on did not turn out as well. And yes, this time, I managed to capture videos WITH audio after the blunder yesterday. I had to place the camera on the railing of the balcony for support to minimize handshaking which could make the video jerky but there were so many people who kept knocking and banging on the railing unexpectedly. Ah… spoilt my video.

The second video is not that clear after I used the zoom, to avoid the heads of the people on the ground. I was at the first floor, but the first video is very clear.

The third video, although is very short and the one that YouTube somehow cannot process, is priceless because our family friend, who works for Ipoh Parade, was also invited up the stage for the farewell speech, was dancing away. I won’t point him out though LOL

P.S.: Just when I was to publish this post, my blog server has to be down. F@rk!! Writing this post has really tested my patience 99. Argghh headache. Really vomit blood! Want to watch movie now already to de-stress!
