With Love
Phew, I am back but my brains are fried after banging out over a hundred posts over the past couple of days. However, this post is not about how I sweated blood but about comparison shots of Nokia E61i vs. iPhone that I initially wanted to blog about the other day.

These were taken last week at Ipoh Parade. They are having a Doraemon promotion during the month of December in conjunction with Christmas. As you can see, they have hung Doraemon cut-outs from the ceiling.

I took these shots with Nokia E61i and iPhone and for the first two shots, I stood at the same spot. The shot taken with Nokia E61i was at 1X zoom.
Once again, iPhone surprised me with its quality. The colour is so rich while the colour from Nokia looks washed out. Disappointing.

Here are some other shots taken at different angles.

What do you think?

Snoopy is the name of my doggie, named at birth by a 7-year-old kid. When we adopted Snoopy at three weeks old, we decided to keep his name in case he suffers from identity crisis.
I remember when Snoopy was a puppy, a friend of mine came to my house and I asked her to call Snoopy, which she did. Each time Snoopy heard his name, he would bark. It was very funny but that proved that he could recognise his own name even though he was only a puppy.

I took this photo of Snoopy at Watson’s and I think it turned out pretty well considering that red is a hard colour to capture. I think the white is great in this shot too and looks pristine. Sometimes white may turn out yellowish or creamy and that would spoil the contrast.
My E61i surprised me this time. With this single shot, I certainly could not complain.

I took these two photos because there are so many colours I wanted to see how well my E61i could capture them. I am happy that they look good enough to me.

These were taken at the shopping complex and you know how dim their lights are especially in the evenings.

Now I am having second thoughts about the quality of my shots with the Nokia E61i haha!
I guess that without a budget to upgrade my phone, I just have to grow to love it. If I have luck with new home based business opportunities or won myself cash prizes in a couple of sweepstakes then that’s a different story!
